Gary Lichlyter

Gary is the founder at Lemont Kitchen & Bath.
Gary was born and raised in the small southern Indiana community of Jasper, Indiana. Jasper is well known for its rich tradition of woodworking production, and that’s where Gary’s love for quality cabinetry began. He developed his craft of cabinetry design and fabrication work for a small, family-owned custom cabinetry manufacturer, listening to and learning from the experienced owner and his cabinet makers. Gary brought that same company’s cabinetry to the greater Chicago land area when he uprooted and moved to Lemont, Illinois and founded Lemont Kitchen and Bath in 1988.

Chris Fleming

Chris is our lead designer at Lemont Kitchen & Bath.
Chris was born in Louisville, Kentucky and moved with his family to Jasper while he was in the 8th grade.

He and Gary became friends in high school, and years later, while working in the telecommunications field, he was contacted by Gary for some advice on buying the company’s first computer system. That conversation was the catalyst that brought Chris to the Lemont Kitchen and Bath team. He moved to the Chicago area and went to work for Gary in 1991. Being new to the industry, Chris acquired his extensive knowledge about design, cabinetry, and the remodeling industry the old-fashioned way on the job.

Sophie Lichlyter

Sophie is our director of first impressions at Lemont Kitchen & Bath.
Besides having to work with her dad, Sophie is also required to put up with Chris. This is a hard task for any person and shows just how talented she really is.  

All joking aside, Sophie helps us in many ways. First and foremost, she is the kind of voice you will hear on the phone or the first person to greet you at the door. Right down to doing all the little things to ensure every customer gets the attention they deserve.
